Roanoke, VA – August 14, 2024 –Veracity is pleased to announce JSerra Catholic School has selected Veracity’s Technology Management SystemTM (TMS) to maximize edtech investments by building awareness, streamlining processes, and centralizing data. The co-ed independent Catholic high school in San Juan Capistrano, CA enrolls approximately 1,200 students and joins a rapidly growing list of independent schools choosing Veracity.
Carmen Lagalante, Director of Education Technology, has devoted over 20 years of her career to JSerra Catholic School, with nearly a decade focused on improving practices around purchasing, tracking, and managing edtech investments. Upon meeting the Veracity team, Lagalante shared her wishlist for elevating these practices, maximizing investments, and scaling for the future.
“With Veracity’s TMS [Technology Management System], we’re moving away from antiquated systems – even filing cabinets – and enabling our technology team and fellow committee members to be more strategic, efficient, and effective,” stated Lagalante.
“Like many, the JSerra Team wants their colleagues to feel empowered to purchase the tools necessary to do their jobs effectively, without feeling like everyone is ‘going rogue’. With every stakeholder having access to the product catalog and a consistent request process for new purchases or licenses, they can feel confident they are maximizing their investments and upholding vetting practices in place to protect student data,” added Veracity Chief Revenue Officer Amy Robertson Dornton.
