Roanoke, VA – April 24, 2025 –Veracity is pleased to announce a cooperative contract, competitively bid by Region 10 Education Service Center (ESC), has been awarded for Veracity’s Technology Management System, helping K-12 schools – across Texas and beyond – streamline edtech management and drive significant cost savings.
Region 10 ESC is one of 20 regional service centers established by the Texas State Legislature, which proudly serves more than 890,000 students in over 130 Independent School Districts, charters, and private schools across ten north Texas counties. Region 10’s mission is to be a trusted, student-focused partner that serves the learning community through responsive, innovative educational solutions.
Assistant Director Dr. Amber Jones and Consultant Dr. Michelle Turner set out to find an administrative tool for better managing instructional software and technologies, contracts, and operational processes such as technology approvals, purchasing, and renewals for educational leadership.
“We selected Veracity because it provides a centralized, efficient solution for managing the full lifecycle of instructional technologies—from approvals and purchasing to renewals and compliance. We believe the value Veracity offers will help districts and schools save both time and money, while simplifying complex administrative processes so they can stay focused on what matters most: supporting teaching and learning,” explained Turner.
Veracity’s comprehensive solution for managing “everything edtech” was vetted and deemed a great fit for the cooperative need. Region 10’s EdTech Exchange is not just available to Texas districts within the region, the program offers statewide accessible contracts for large group purchasing power, simplified purchasing, and expert vetting. Many K-12 districts outside of Texas also take advantage of the EdTech Exchange’s streamlined sourcing efforts, maximizing budget and resources.
“We are proud to have been through the region’s rigorous RFP process for excellence and awarded this cooperative agreement by the Region 10 Board. We are eager to further expand our growing Texas customer base and beyond,” stated Veracity CRO Amy Dornton.
The EdTech Exchange Cooperative offers membership to public school districts, private schools, charter schools, colleges and universities at no cost, enabling competitive pricing and streamlined procurement for education software.
